Discipline 03 Applied AI

AI is either your advantage or your overhead. It picks based on how you priced it.

We sit on both sides of this. We use AI to build product faster than traditionally-staffed teams, and we help founders put AI inside their apps in a way that customers pay for. The second part is where most people get hurt — not because the feature fails, but because nobody did the math on what it costs to run.

01 Building With AI

Speed as a structural advantage

AI-assisted development changes what a small team can ship, and we build that way ourselves. For clients, that means product built and iterated at a pace that used to require a much bigger payroll — and a partner who knows the real capabilities and real limits, because we hit both daily.

02 AI in the Product

Features users pay for, not features you pay for

An AI feature has a bill attached. Every generation, every call, every long conversation — someone pays for that thinking, and if your pricing ignores it, that someone is you. We design AI features around a simple discipline: know the cost per use, know the value per use, and make sure the gap between them belongs to you.

If a model is doing the thinking, the pricing has to know what the thinking costs.

03 Pricing AI

Competitive without being suicidal

The market is full of AI apps priced by people who haven't looked at their own usage curves yet. Some of them will learn expensively. We price AI features to be competitive on the surface and durable underneath — metering what must be metered, bundling what can be bundled, and structuring tiers so your enthusiastic users make you money. Enthusiasm should be a good problem.

What we work through

Cost per use
What one call, one generation, one long session actually bills you.
Value per use
What the user gets, and what that outcome is worth to them.
Metering
Which consumption has to be counted, and which can quietly ride along.
The heavy user
Whether your most enthusiastic customer is your best one or your worst.
04 Honest Fit

And if AI doesn't belong in your app

Then we'll say so. Bolting a chatbot onto an app that didn't need one is a cost center wearing a press release. AI earns its place when it does something your user actually values. When it does, we'll help you build it and charge for it properly.
